AppSync iOS 8: How to Install AppSync Repo

In this tutorial, you will learn how to install AppSync Repo for all kinds of iOS 8 devices including iOS 8.0, iOS 8.0.1, iOS 8.0.2, iOS 8.1, iOS 8.1.1, iOS 8.1.2, and iOS 8.2. There are many ways to install AppSync. The method shared here requires you to jailbreak and install Cydia. Without Cydia or without jailbreak, AppSync is almost impossible to work on an iOS 8 device.

What is AppSync iOS 8

When you purchase an app from App Store and download to your iOS device, Apple will sign the app just for your device so that it can’t be transfer to other iOS device. Without the signature, you can’t use the app. In other words, you cannot, and not allowed to copy and paste the app to other iOS device and use it. You need to pay twice if you want to use it on two devices. This main purpose is to avoid pirated app. AppSync iOS 8 works like a pen that is able to sign all kinds of cracked apps.

Without AppSync, you can still install cracked apps from vShare, AppCake, PandaApp, HipStore, OpenAppMkt, Kuaiyong, Zeusmos, iFunBox, or any other Apptrackr alternatives. It is a must to download Cydia before you begin the steps here. You can download Cydia DEB file to install Cydia if you are having a jailbroken iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.

Step 1: Launch Cydia and go to Manage -> Sources -> Edit (small button on top right).

Step 2: Tap on the Add button at the top left.

Step 3: A message “Enter Cydia/APT URL” will pop up. This is where you need to enter the Cydia sources for AppSync iOS 8. There are a few very popular Cydia repo that hosts AppSync 8 and you can pick any of them and enter to the text box. They are:

You can try AppSync Unified if you would like to test your own iPhone apps on your own device. AppSync Unified allows developers who are not registered with Apple’s official iOS Developer Program to test their own app with their own devices. AppSync Unified can be downloaded from Cydia App Store through Karen’s Pineapple repo for free. This is definitely a brilliant app.

Download RecBoot 2.2 for Mac and Windows to Set iPhone Recovery Mode

It is not necessary but a must to download RecBoot if you want to put an iPhone, iPad Air, or iPod Touch into or out of recovery mode. RecBoot is a free software. The main feature of this freeware is to allow a Mac or Windows user to set an iOS device such as the iPhone or iPad into recovery mode with just a click. RecBoot also comes with the feature to force an iOS device out of recovery mode as long as it is connected to a computer. It has been tested on iOS 8, iOS 8.1, iOS 8.2, iOS 7, iOS 6, as well as iOS 5 devices and it works flawlessly. Be it a Mac or Windows, RecBoot is free and work on both operating systems.

PS: Recovery mode is not DFU mode and DFU mode is not recovery mode. RecBoot is only able to put an iOS device into recovery mode or kick the device out from recovery mode. How to put your iPhone or iPad into DFU Mode

  1. Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch with your Windows PC or Mac. Open iTunes and make sure it is running.
  1. Press and hold both the Home Button and Sleep Butotn together for about 10 seconds.
  1. Let go the Sleep Button and keep holding the Home Button for another 5 seconds. You are now in DFU mode if your screen turns black.
